Yeezys are Back Baby!
Adidas and Ye are back in business. After parting ways in October 2022, the German sportswear brand has decided to continue selling adidas YEEZY products. Ye will still receive a 15% commission for each sale, adidas will also donate a portion of the proceeds to international organizations.
With over 1.3 billion USD worth of adidas YEEZY sneakers currently in storage, this decision aims to minimize profit loss for the company and address sustainability concerns. Details about the quantity of stock to be released, specific models and colorways, and the method of release (whether through the CONFIRMED App, online stores, or wholesale retailers) are yet to be confirmed. Bjørn Gulden, CEO of adidas, emphasized the company’s intention to sell some of the merchandise over time.
As we await further updates, including announcements on upcoming adidas YEEZY launches, it is anticipated that more information will be revealed in the coming months. At the time of writing, adidas has not responded to a request for comments regarding the situation.
